Basically my project amounts to interfacing a MSP430 microcontroller to the
Omnibook's parallel port and writing the needed firmware to talk to the
parallel port for data transfer. This isn't IP - just moving some
application data back and forth.
Anyway, I don't have Windows on the Omnibook so I wasn't able to see
anything about the port's configuration but the BIOS settings.
I think there was an issue with some Omnibook about the parallel port, but
as I think now, it may have been from the 300/425 era where the issue was,
not the 800CT.
PS I wrote F1275A in the original subject line - that's actually I think the
external keyboard for the Jornada 720 --- the OB is F1360A as I recall.....
