[OB] Is this list alive?

It's definitely the battery ... once you put regular AAs into a 'dead' OB they pop back to life. And I've opened mine up a few times to fix, I didn't see an internal battery. I did see a reasonably large capacitor though, about 1000 microfarads or so.
