Good. Nice to know it works well.
Note that the GUI will run in down to 48MB. Best is to create a swap
file ( either a dos swap file, or a separate
swap partition). My own setup is:
2GB disk.
C: 700MB with OB standard W95+ Office 97 + the 50MB DSL stuff
rest: Extended partition
D: 1.2GB data disk ( or thereabouts)
256MB Linux swap space.
I am going to migrate all of this to a 2GB CF card. I just rebuilt one
of my three totally empy batteries.
I can get now up to 5-6 hours running from CF. Fun to have a silent
instant-on 800x600
W95 or Linux system.
I do have a 640x240 jlime linux on both Nec 900C and Jornada 720, but I
rather have the
OB for portabe office work.
And now I want to find out how to run the pop-up mouse. Has anyone else
got it working decently under any
Linux X-server?
Everyone: Please let know how you fare with special PCMCIA/CARDBUS cards.
Do you get USB/Wlan/Wlan+WPA(2) working?
