The battery on the Asus Eee only lasts about 2.5
hours.

The all-flash Omnibook 300 with regular LiIon AA
rechargeables will do about 12-16 hours.

You would think with all of this modern technology and
low-draw, CMOS ICs, along with NiMH batteries they
would be able to manage at least 12 hours on a charge.
